End of an Era:
It is with a heavy heart for us to announce that Nasi Padang 8789 Since 1976 will be closed permanently with immediate effect.
Due to rising rental costs and old age, it is extremely difficult for us to keep a food stall sustainable.
We are proud to have served the community with our Nasi Pandang since 1976, from the hey days in Pasir Panjang when we were formerly known as Tai Sim Nasi Padang, to Nasi Padang 8789 in Cantonment Road. We are also happy to have made the acquaintance of so many customers, who have come so regularly to support our stall.
We sincerely thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts, and the efforts of food reviewers to showcase our food, especially during the darks times of Covid lockdown.
