Back in 2006, before the age of smartphones and the term “foodporn” came into being, TGS was birthed by two unlikely friends: a creative eccentric and a dreamy nerd. Situated in the tranquil, suburban east-side neighbourhood of Telok Kurau, TGS was one of the few pioneers of the first wave cafe scene, set out to bring to the Singapore food scene the kind of dining experience we’d always wanted – h

earty, rustic food, big portions, and most importantly – service from the heart. Our love for animals also means that TGS will always be a pet-friendly place. With Cowboy the Cat as our mascot since day one, it’s probably safe to say we were the original ‘cat cafe’, too!
