During early 80s, Mr Ho Choon Hock was a bak k*t teh lover just like everyone. He will visit any bak k*t teh stalls recommended by friends and compare their taste. Very soon, he became a regular customer of a famous Bak K*t Teh stall in Johor Bahru. Through recommendations, he got to know the boss of this Bak K*t Teh stall and learnt the ropes of making this marvelous tasting soup. On 31st July 1984, he started his very first Bak K*t Teh stall in Teck Whye Lane. After many years of experience, he have changed and modified the original recipe of the soup to suit Singapore customers taste. Unlike the common pepperish Bak K*t Teh in Singapore, this golden brown soup is rich in herbal spices served in claypot. Filled with fresh ingredients like Pork Ribs, Mushrooms, Pig Liver and Intestines, the soup is a great bargain for Bak K*t Teh lovers. Besides that, we also have side dishes like Salted Vegetables, Braised Pig's Trotters, You Tiao and Vegetables ( Cai Xin / Xiao Bai Cai / Kai Lan ). Please visit us at 143 Teck Whye Lane to try our own "Singaporean" style Bak K*t Teh. Do feel free to leave feedbacks and comments on our wall.
