Hot, soupy noodles to warm the stomach, kaya bread on the side, soft-boiled eggs with that runny centre (my favourite 🥹), some coconut kueh for a little sweetness, and big juicy oranges to share. And of course… coffee to wake everyone up ☕️

Nothing fancy, just a table full of comfort — made even prettier with my pink aglaonemas quietly sitting behind. Home mornings like this really make my heart feel full 🌿✨

A cosy little breakfast for two this sunny morning ☀️✨
Made a simple plate of eggs, corn, tart and some soft buns for my lovely girl — just the two of us starting the day slow, surrounded by our happy plants and a whole lot of warmth. 💛🌿

What a delightful reunion dinner feast! I prepared a 7-dish menu filled with love and flavors:

We started with a fresh and briny clam and mussel soup, setting the perfect tone. Next came wontons filled with juicy minced pork and cabbage, paired with crispy Vietnamese spring rolls and a rich, creamy peanut sauce.

For the mains, there was tender abalone with broccoli, perfectly steamed salmon, and flavorful drunken chicken, each dish carefully crafted to satisfy every palate.

To end on a sweet note, we enjoyed tangyuan for its symbolism of unity and warmth, accompanied by crispy, addictive krupuk.

A labor of love for a special evening with family—reunion dinners truly bring out the joy of cooking and sharing.
