The Daily Bake sparked off as a personal hobby and soon fired into a passion that has since gone up in flames (not literally)! The joy and fun (yes, baking is fun!) of "playing" with the unpredictable and the temperamental (yes, even flour and eggs have mood swings too!) and eagerly awaiting the unexpected is somewhat, as I would like to call it "euphoric" and almost child-like (no expectation, ye

t hoping for something rewarding). Of course today, after ceaselessly and tirelessly beating and whisking, folding and mixing, baking has totally transformed into a "dream". It is love, joy, passion, science, and lots of practice and oftentimes, luck! The Daily Bake has become my home bakery, and I have never been more thankful that I did not hack down the walls of my kitchen and gave that extra space to my walk-in wardrobe. Drawers of unhealthy snacks and "god-knows-what-I-stored" have "baked into layers of tools of the craft" - baking pans of all shapes and sizes, whisks, spatulas, sifts, flavoring & coloring, and gadgets and tricks necessary to make every baking dream a reality
