From Yunnan to the table at Jiak Kim House.

On 12 May 2026, Jiak Kim House presents a one-night-only partnership with Chalu Sparkling Tea — a non-alcoholic sparkling tea crafted in the highlands of Yunnan, China.

Inspired by the ancient Tea Horse Road (茶路, Chálù), each expression is cold brewed for clarity and aged on native Yunnan oak for depth, resulting in a profile that is both elegant and refreshing.

The evening unfolds across a 3-course menu from our signature selections, accompanied by four Chalu expressions: a welcome glass of Untamed Rosé, followed by three pairings, one with each course. The Chalu founders will be present to guide the experience, while Chef TQ will share the thinking behind each pairing before the mains are served.

Our Abundance Menu and Prosperity Menu offer two distinct expressions of the Lunar New Year season, welcoming the Year of the Horse with colour and celebration.🐎🎆

Drawing inspiration from Teochew, Cantonese, Hokkien, Hakka, and Hainan culinary traditions, the Abundance Menu is a seven-course journey of multi-dialect flavours, with each dish crafted to celebrate its heritage.

The Prosperity Menu, also seven courses, presents familiar festive favourites, designed for relaxed, communal enjoyment.

Together, these menus embody Jiak Kim House’s approach to modern Asian cuisine; seasonal, and centered on the joy of sharing meaningful moments with family, friends, and colleagues.

Protected under Singapore’s conservation efforts, Jiak Kim House is a carefully restored heritage warehouse originally used for trading goods by the Singapore River.

With it’s original long-standing architectural foundation and unique scallop-shaped architecture, it’s a space celebrating national heritage and Modern Asian cuisine.

Our building’s historic brickwork dates back nearly a century, showcasing Singapore’s architectural heritage in a contemporary context.
