WK Muar Fish Otah

So, what is the difference between Minced Fish Otah and Chunky Fish Otah?

Minced Fish Otah (green packaging) is more traditional taste which orginated from banana leaf otah. The texture is firm and chewy. The fish paste exudes spices' fragrance with medium spiciness.

Chunky Fish Otah (blue packaging) texture and taste are similar to Minced Fish Otah except Mackerel Fish Chunks embedded within. It has a good clean fishy taste and has right tinge of spiciness (mild).

Braised Pork Belly 扣肉

A very much of home dish, Braised Pork Belly (aka Kong Bak 扣肉) is a thick slice of pork belly braised in soy sauce and spice. Often sandwiched with fresh coriander between a steam leaf bun, it would be the closest version of a burger in Chinese cuisine.

With the use of spice combines with the fats that are rendered while cooking, it keeps the meat tender and develops that sweet flavor. A comforting yet sinful dish that is hard to resist!
