Now that it’s all over, we have nominated our ‘Death By Chocolate’ Cake, or DBCC as it’s affectionately named, the star of Riders Cafe. In the last few weeks, this was the most requested item on the menu. Our DBCC has been on the menu since Day 1, an item that has is beloved by so many of our customers. On behalf of the DBCC and the team, we thank all our customers who have supported us to the end. For those who have never tried the DBCC or miss it already, we will find a way to bring it back.

The time has come for us to say goodbye as today is our last day of operations. We will be taking orders until 3pm and will be closed from 4pm onwards.

As we countdown to our last day of service on 19th February 2023, this is a shoutout to all our amazing employees past and present: we can't thank each and every one of you enough for the hard work, dedication, and passion in building Riders Cafe from day one. Over the last 15 years, your continuous efforts and support in providing exceptional service, delicious food, and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere are truly appreciated. You are the backbone of our business, and we are eternally grateful to have you as part of our team. Although this may be the end of an era, we will always look back on the memories we have made with a smile. Thank you for being a part of our story.

Beginning and the end.

It is impossible to think about the last day without looking back on our first day.

The first day of operations was July 1st 2007. A low budget start up, the sales for that day was just $33. We did not even own a POS machine, we made do with a small, red cash box before we made enough money to purchase a POS system. We still kept it as a reminder of our earlier days at Riders Cafe.

Today, we are sad to announce that our last day of operations will be on Sunday, February 19th 2023. We will also continue to take events until February 12th.

We thank all our guests for their love and support through the years. And especially grateful for all who popped by, spoke and shared with us your stories and memories of Riders Cafe. We couldn’t have lasted this long without your continuous patronage.

Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, we have made the decision to revise our operating hours for this week, from 8 November 2022 to 11 November 2022. Keeping our employees and customers safe remains our top priority, and we are committed to doing our part in this fight against COVID-19.
