For more than 10 years, Sweet Garden has been through many ups and downs. What started as just an ordinary little café has stayed here through the years, with our lights still shining every day.
Recently, something quite unexpected happened.
The area outside our café has been beautifully improved — the walkway has been upgraded, and new railings have been installed, making the whole stretch outside our shop look much nicer, safer and more welcoming.And to our surprise, we started noticing something really special… people passing by would stop, take photos and check in. 📸
We honestly never expected the space outside our little café to slowly become a photo spot for people passing through. It may seem like a small thing, but to us, it feels incredibly meaningful.
We hope that Sweet Garden can continue to become a little landmark with its own story — a place where people can stop, take a photo, make a memory, and perhaps remember a small part of Singapore's neighbourhood life.
You don't even have to come in for a meal. 😊
If you're passing by, just stop for a moment, take a photo outside and leave a memory behind. That would already mean a lot to us.
Traditional neighbourhood cafés like ours are becoming fewer and fewer in Singapore. After more than a decade of hard work, we feel grateful that our little shop is still here still open, still lit up, and still creating memories.
