God is my refuge
In biblical and spiritual contexts, a bird nesting and hatching eggs in front of your home is often seen as a significant sign of divine protection, provision, and new beginnings.

I’ve watch this amazing process everyday and I am reminded of God’s love, provision & protection over me

In my grieving for Ernest Michael, I believe God is reassuring me of His love for me because He cares for the Sparrow” how much more He cares for me
The Bird’s Nest Fern where the nest is nestled in was planted by Ernest more than 20 years ago!

I am amazed at how the Mother bird covers her babies at night with her whole body
It brings to mind
*Ps 91:4
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;*
This scripture has come alive for me
Praise the Lord 🙏 # psalm91

Sunday afternoon Tea-time adventure

Aubergine in Tomato Sauce & Shredded Vintages Cheese

Slice 2 Aubergine into 2.
Season with Salt & Pepper
Sear side down in Olive Oil & Butter
Pour Tomato Sauce
Add sliced Tomatoes
Add Shredded Cheese
Bake in oven for 20 mins on 200C
Remove from Oven
Garnish with Fresh Basil
Tuck in!
Yummmmmms

Rose Mooncake in my Garden

Delighted with my 1st Rose Mooncakes attempt!
A little tedious but so worth the effort
Doesn’t hurt with Double Egg Yolks in Lotus Paste goodness
Less sugar of course!
