My last post for 2015.
What a satisfying year it's been for the entrepreneur in me- a fantastic year of learning.

Equally satisfying and fantastic was getting this group of 12 dynamic mums of autistic kids together for a few hours of merry baking and bonding - as part of an initiative from the Autism Association.

Everyone loves to Bake. Period. 😄

The holidays are almost coming to an end!
We've had a few different workshops this season for kids. The highlight for me was watching these pre-teens getting their Basics of Baking in place at my 3-day Baking workshop.
Strawberries. Basil. Jam. Chocolate. Pasta. Cookies. Brownies. Cupcakes - a Perfect recipe for a fun, educational and delicious Holiday workshop!

It's been a busy month so far, with birthday parties, corporate workshops and Holiday camps.

We kicked off with a birthday party for a 9 year old who wanted to bake Strawberry cupcakes with her school friends. A vivacious group of girls, with a keen curiosity for Baking and Learning- they got me completely immersed in their questions and .. gossip :)
The best part- one of the parents actually knitted a little flower for me (on the spot) to thank me for looking after the girls and keeping them busy and involved together for 2 hours!

We ended up with a ton of cupcakes, decorated cookies and happiness all around :)

A fun day indeed!

It's the holidays! Yay!
And I can't think of one single activity that's more fun than Baking with me! 😛
We've been having plenty of workshops for 3-7 year olds to encourage a love and knowledge for food, ingredients and baking.

Going forward:
- We have a workshop every Thursday from 4:30pm - 5:30pm at Tanjong Rhu Road
- A big 3-day workshop for 7-12 year olds from the 14-16 Dec. Sign up quickly to avoid disappointments!

Have you ever thought about how much time and creativity is put into decorating a cake?

These 7-9 year olds got an idea last weekend, when they made their own buttercream frosting from scratch, filled piping bags, rolled fondant and created beautiful Holiday themed decorated cupcakes.
