Dear friends, as most of you probably know by now, we have ceased operations at Nook, as we have moved all operations to a new restaurant location. We are now actively looking for interested parties to takeover the cafe. All furniture and equipment are intact and operational, as you remember it. Asking price is $40k negotiable. Dear fans and friends, Nook is now temporarily closed for a re-vamp!! From now till 22 Feb 10. Based on the valuable feedback we've been gatheing from all of you, we will be sprucing up the cafe, re-organizing, and re-working the menu to give you a better experience! In this time, visit our new restaurant outlet - My Little Spanish Place @ 619 Bukit Timah Rd (between Coronation Plaza and Hwa Chong JC). Cheers.

For the curious, some background on Chef Maria Sevillano - Born and raised in Salamanca, in the heart of Castille Y Leon region of Spain, Maria hails from a family of chefs. Her culinary experience started more than 25 years ago, in the modest kitchen of the family restaurant in her hometown. Since then, her culinary skills have grown from influences in Canada and Champagne, France, where she has lived for more than 15 years. Maria now calls Singapore home, and has embarked on her first foray into the local food scene as our chef at Nook.

After a short break the past week, we have re-organized Nook to focus on our specialities - hearty Spanish-French cuisine. Chef Maria has expanded our menu - Look out for new items like Gambas al Ajillo (Prawns in garlic sauce), classic chilled Gazpacho soup, and desserts like Crema Catalana (Spanish-style Creme Brulee)! Coming soon... Jamon, Chorizo, Spanish brunch menu, and free-flow Cava promotions!

Time for a break! We are having our daytimes off this week Mon (24 Oct) - Fri (30 Oct). We are open in the evening 6pm - 11pm on these days. Sorry to disappoint our lunch buddies this week. New plans are cooking... =)
