Yhingthai Palace Restaurant was first opened in 1993 at 13 Purvis Street off Beach Road, with a seating capacity of about 60 pax. We endeavour in serving authentic Thai and Thai Chinese Cuisine and place great emphasis on the freshness and quality of the ingredients used in all our dishes. In November 1995, The Bay Restaurant Pte Ltd, serving Western cuisine, was acquired and renamed Yhingthai at the Bay. This Restaurant, with a seating capacity of 120, is situated at Leisure Park, a building next to Kallang Theatre formerly known as Leisure Dome. The menu at Yhingthai at the Bay was the same as its sister restaurant, Yhingthai Palace. With the expiry of its lease in January 1998, Yhingthai Palace moved across to a larger premise at 36 Purvis Street. Following the closure of Yhingthai at the Bay, Wang Yhingthai Restaurant was established in the year 2000. It was located two units away from Yhingthai Palace to cater to the Halal market. Wang Yhingthai was later renamed Yhingthai Place with its menu revamped to include new and modern Thai dishes. By 2010, Yhingthai consolidated all its businesses and currently operates solely in Yhingthai Palace Restaurant located at 36 Purvis Street #01-04 with a seating capacity of about 120 people. Since the inception of the Michelin Guide Singapore edition, we have been awarded the Bib Gourmand award twice and are also one of the Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant in Singapore for Thai cuisine!
