Yet another year, and we turn 5 today!

Sometimes, we look back in disbelief and wonder how we managed to hang on for so long. Perhaps it was blind faith, or dogged determination on our part, but the journey had certainly not been easy. Thank you for being our constant cheerleader on this crazy journey.

The last one year was admittedly tough, with rising costs on every front, and unpredictability everyday. The year ahead looks to be even more challenging, but rest assured we will keep doing our best, as we always had, for you.

If there was anything we had learnt these past years, it is, to treasure the people and the places we love because change is the only constant, and nothing is permanent.

Five years, it’s a milestone!
A big thank you to all of you who brought us this far. We know it would have been impossible without your love and support.

Since we are returning to Phase 2(HA) starting this Thursday 22nd July, we will take the opportunity to close from this Thursday 22nd July till end July (as we will be taking our vaccination anyway). We will update again depending on how the situation evolves by then, and if we will re-open beginning of August.

All previously confirmed cake orders will still be fulfilled. Take care and stay safe, everyone!!! We will see you soon!

Our in-house Christmas bakes are available for pre-order!

- Woody or Snowy ($45)
Our version of a traditional log cake, with either vanilla or chocolate buttercream on the exterior for a rustic look and your favourite combination of chiffon and fruit pairing inside. Have it your way!

- Orange Cranberry Pistachio mini bundt ($7)
One of our classic bakes presented as a mini bundt cake specially for the festive season. The sweetness from the Valencia orange drizzle coupled with bites of pistachio nuts and cranberries is our lighter rendition of a festive fruit cake.

- Dark Chocolate and Peanut Butter mini bundt ($7)
This chocolate mini bundt comes studded with chocolate buttons and peanut butter chips inside, topped with bittersweet chocolate ganache and an additional drizzle of irresistible peanut butter.

- Spiced Apple and Ginger mini bundt ($7.50)
Delightful bits of spicy ginger and cinnamon apple in this cake drizzled with aromatic butterscotch and almond flakes, we love how it brings on that warm fuzzy vibes of your grandma’s home kitchen.

- Our other bakes such as the various pound cakes, craft-your-own cakes and the chocolate flourless cakes are also available for pre-orders during this Christmas season. Feel free to enquire with us!

“Where’s the drizzle?”
“Do I get to drizzle something on it?”

These are question we sometimes get from customers. Many have become accustomed to the very thick sugar icing on top of lemon drizzle cakes that it almost becomes the default look of a lemon drizzle cake. Our version of the lemon drizzle cake looks a little naked, humble and “undrizzled” but they are already drizzled with fresh lemony goodness (in our recipe, more freshly squeezed lemon juice than sugar) and if you like sour notes, this cake will be just up your alley, as it’s more sour than sweet!

We think a pound cake is meant to be eaten without any frosting and there is no reason to hide the cake under a thick layer of sugar icing. We chose to present it in this mini bundt shape too so that it can have a bigger surface area for the lemony drizzle to be upon. That’s our own interpretation of the lemon drizzle cake, coz that’s the way we like it and that’s the way we hope you like it too!

We believe in having your cake, and eating it, all of it! Simply coz it’s too yummy not to!

Our craft-your-own cakes uses a reduced sugar chiffon/pound cake recipe, paired with a light swiss meringue buttercream with natural flavouring and colouring and topped with fresh fruits. So, you can enjoy the cake in all its goodness! 😋
