Wishing all a Happy Good Friday. Out early for breakfast at Chinatown Complex today. Unfamiliar with this food centre, first time trying all three stalls just because there was a queue. 😅

Uptown Nasi Lemak @ 121 Telok Ayer Street

Walked passed the coffeeshop and saw this much talked about Malaysian nasi lemak, decided to try it. Ordered the $8.70 whole leg Ayam Goreng Berempah option, not bad but slightly on the pricey side. Will I come specifically for this, only if someone wants to have it.

Chang Ji Gourmet Smith Street Market & Hawker Center.

They only sell fried beehoon and peanut porridge, saw lots of people eating it. Ordered the $1.20 fried beehoon, serving portion is small but nice. Old school. Ho Ho S*k.

169 Hainanese Chicken Rice @ Smith Street Market & Hawker Center.

Saw a long queue for this chicken rice and decided to join in as I am not familiar with this food centre. Ordered the $6.00 portion, chicken was tender, rice was fragrant and chilli was spicy and not the watery type. Ho Ho S*k!

Cantonese Delights at Hong Lim Market and Food Centre - Queued almost 30 minutes and ordered the much talked Curry Fried Chicken Cutlet with additional 2 pieces of Tau Kee for $6.20. First time eating from this store, it is good and reminds me of the Maggi Curry Mee but much better.

Sungei Road Laksa 結霜橋叻沙 @ 27 Jalan Berseh, #01-100, Singapore 200027. First time trying, heard a lot about it. Ordered $4.00 portion (only 1 size) with additional $1.00 cockles, maybe was expecting too much especially with the long queue. Personally preferred the ones in the east.

Adu Mubarak Mandi Rice @ 300 Tampines Ave 5, Income @ Tampines Junction #01-01A - Ordered the $9.90 Mutton Mandi Rice individual portion, the mutton is tender and the mandi rice fragrance and fluffy. The Cai Karak tea was also very good. Will be coming back. Ho Ho S*k!
