“Hui Restaurant. Went here to have a taste of this wonderful Juku Wagyu! Got it exactly how I want it, Done in medium rare. I’m having 7 course tasting menu for dinner, it’s was amazing, really not so bad. Kudos to Fuzaime and Dao Ping for excellent customer service. Environment of this restaurant is great, wonderful architecture for interior design! A very cool nice atmosphere. Definitely need to try out!!”

HUI which means “To Meet” in mandarin is a newly opened fine dining restaurant that is poised to tantalize your taste buds with its culinary confluence of French & Chinese cuisine.

Led by Award winning Chef Liinson Heng, you can sit back, relax and let him take you on a gastronomic adventure with their series of set menus whereby Traditional Chinese flavours meets French gastronomy.

Due to its popular demand, .restaurant has extended their “Summer” 7-course menu* and here are some of the highlights:
🔸Hokkaido Scallop angel hair pasta tossed with house made chilli oil and truffle oil.
🔸Blue Crab tartare paired with beet, Sze Chuan avocado puree and topped with Kaluga Queen Caviar
🔸Juku Wagyu complemented by lightly charred morel and drizzled with Sze Chuan peppery jus

So folks, I’m sure many of you will be familiar with Japanese, Chinese and European cuisines, but to have it elevated with such finess and flare is indeed no easy task. Kudos to Chef Liinson and his team at .restaurant for pushing the boundaries in the world of culinary.

The charming colonial bungalow setting offers both indoor and alfresco dining.
Taking centre stage in the restaurant interior is a state-of-the-art LED screen.
There are also 2 VIP rooms located on the second storey

Chef Liinson Heng is formerly the Chef De Partie of three Michelin-starred Joel Robuchon and the Chef De Cuisine of Olivia Cassivelaun Fancourt Singapore.
He has previously trained under Chef Jean Michel Perrchon in Paris

For HUI, Chef has curated a series of set menus where Chinese flavours marry French gastronomy.

We tried their current 7-course menu ($158 nett)

1.First served a Pre-Starter.

2.Blue Crab tartare paired with beet, Sze Chuan avocado puree and topped with Kaluga Queen Caviar.

3.Hokkaido Scallop angel hair pasta tossed with house made chilli oil and truffle oil.

4.Oyster, Japanese poached oysters coupled with Spanish ox heart cabbage and chilli beef mince.

5.French Seabass, whereby the skin is grilled to a delectable crisp and its flavour enhanced with a dash of shish*to pepper. It is then drenched in Mala Bouillon before serving.

6.Juku Wagyu is complemented by lightly charred morel and drizzled with Sze Chuan peppery jus. The meltingly tender meat is perfectly grilled and boasts a pinkish hue in the middle.

7.Dessert Apricot completes the set meal. Honey Chrysanthemum ice-cream is delicately placed atop a base of Madagascar vanilla bean, chantilly cream, opalys crunchy pear and coffee crumble.

Pair this set with one of their wine for that perfect dining experience

HUI Restaurant is under the stewardship of Chef Linson Heng, formerly the Chef De Partie of 3 Michelin-starred Joel Robuchon Restaurant and the Chef De Cuisine of Olivia Cassivelaun Fancourt Singapore.

There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and the restaurant has a state-of-the-art LED screen that runs from the wall to the ceiling. There are also two VIP rooms on the second floor, which are ideal for business meetings, group events, and formal dinners.

Here are some of the dishes from their a la carte menus that go well with beers. 
Spam fries - crispy pork terrine 
Crispy wing - half dozen mid wing joint, mid spicy
Mala Julienned Potato - mala spices, vinegar, chilli 
Chilli Shirobuta - Kagoshima prefecture, pork belly, seasonal side, shish*to pepper 
Hunan beef - tajima wagyu MS3, chili, pepper, seasonal side, parsley 
Caviar Pasta - kombu, truffle, caviar, homemade hilli

The restaurant is under the stewardship of Chef Linson Heng who is formerly the Chef De Partie of 3 Michelin-starred Joel Robuchon Restaurant and the Chef De Cuisine of Olivia Cassivelaun Fancourt Singapore.

For HUI, Chef Linson Heng has curated a series of set menus whereby authentic Chinese flavours marry French gastronomy at its finest. The dishes are updated every few months according to seasonal changes.

For their current 7-course menu ($158 nett), diners are first served a Pre-Starter. This is followed by the Blue Crab tartare paired with beet, Sze Chuan avocado pure and topped with Kaluga Queen Caviar. The next dish is the Hokkaido Scallop angel hair pasta tossed with house made chilli oil and truffle oil.

The fourth dish is Oyster, Japanese poached oysters coupled with savoy cabbage and chilli beef mince. This is followed by the French Seabass, whereby the skin is grilled to a delectable crisp and its flavour enhanced with a dash of shish*to pepper and drenched in Mala Bouillon before serving.

Ending off the mains would be the show-stopping Juku Wagyu complemented with
lightly charred morel and Sze Chan peppery jus. The tender meat is perfectly grilled and boasts a pinkish hue in the middle. Its taste is intensified with the savoury jus.
