Chef DrVic is a laudable lifelong learner, earned his 5 years full time UWA - Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Services Marketing, in year 2006, when he was already 60. His passion in cooking, as rooted in all his family members, branched his lifelong learning with SHATEC to be a certified chef in Western Cuisine. To Chef DrVic, age is simply a number. Now at 76 , he learned the culinary

art of Thai Cuisine, and he wants to share his love for food with others at Hong Lim Food Centre, which will be priced from $5 to $8 to suit the average wallet. Yet, the Thai Cuisine he cooks will be for everyone to enjoy premium quality ingredients & flavour, for example, he chooses to use Diced Chicken Leg Meat, Premium Australian Striploin Beef Slices for his Spicy Thai Holy Basil rice and he uses 100% Hom Mali Rice with Authentic sauces from Thailand. Furthermore, he don’t even charge for Take Away Boxes. This incredible Chef wants to show the world that he can still be financially independent despite being a Senior Citizen. What’s even more intriguing if you know Chef DrVic well, you will discover that he is a very humble person. In his past job exposures to learn about work ethos at all levels - right down to foundation, he took up various jobs to experience the different wards of life from working in the Tuas incineration as a cleaner, to a service crew in Peace Japanese Cuisine. It is unfortune, he suffered a stroke but is recovery well, however, due to his health concern, we have put him off the hot kitchen and now Chef Alvin Chiong, an experience chef, already good in Thai Cuisine is helming the kitchen bringing you his special dishes and our Spicy Thai Basil Chicken Leg Slices and Australian Striploin Beef.

Hey everyone, I've got some fantastic news to share! Peace Thai Cuisine is now sizzling in the same location as Peace Japanese Cuisine, and we're all about bringing some major Thai flavor to the filming crew today! πŸŽ‰

We had the privilege of serving up our famous Thai Basil Chicken, Beef, and Kurobuta to the entire crew on set. What a blast! πŸ˜‹πŸŒΆοΈ

But here's the kicker, my friends – I am truly blessed to have two of the hottest goddesses from Hong Kong gracing us with their presence today. Hera Kwan ι—œζ™΄ and ε΄”η’§ηˆ Anita Chui , you both are pure magic! 🌟 Thanks a million, Hera, for striking those fabulous poses for Peace Thai Cuisine and lending a hand with the camera alongside Anita Chui. From different levels of Spiciness to different variations of Thai "Zichar".

We understand your taste. People around the world came and thumbs up for the food, including a lot of Thai.

But 28 January 2023 Saturday marks the last day of operation at Hong Lim Food Centre #02-52.

You will continue to serve for takeaway from our Bedok Kitchen and will notify you of our new address once we have it ready for operation.

Meanwhile, please visit us from 10am Sat 28 January 2023 at #02-52 Hong Lim Food Centre to give us your blessings as we conduct our last day of business there.
