LOTUS VEGETARIAN KITCHEN @ VIVO CITY, FOOD REPUBLIC
Throwback to a time visited LOTUS VEGETARIAN KITCHEN at VIVO CITY FOOD REPUBLIC with , & . Of course not travel there specially to eat lah - we were there to catch a performance by Teng Ensemble at the amphitheatre then along the way so why not?
We ordered -
✅ THUNDER TEA BROWN RICE ($8)
✅ THUNDER TEA BEE HOON ($8)
✅ VEGETARIAN BAK K*T TEH BROWN RICE ($8.90)
✅ BRAISED BROWN RICE RAMEN ($7.90)
Ehhhh it was good leh - I ate the VEGETARIAN BAK K*T TEH BROWN RICE aiyo no regrets man. had the THUNDER TEA BEE HOON while had the BRAISED BROWN RICE RAMEN & had the THUNDER TEA BROWN RICE. No complains lor!
VEGETARIAN BAK K*T TEH is flavourful, slightly pepperish with plentiful of ingredients in it. Of course some mock meat expected. Eat finished won’t thirsty. The THUNDER TEA is on the thick viscous side (some are watery types). The THUNDER TEA BEE HOON is new to me because always eat is rice one. Then right, since the Thunder Tea is thick with Bee Hoon wow, both really “hug each other” making every mouthful of bee hoon sooo the yummy. 😄
Word say come back, if the Thunder Tea pass ah, you pour with rice or bee hoon also shiok. Right, right? However, there is an observation -
While they are delicious, maybe the ramen serving portion may not work out if you are super hungry or have big appetite.
No alliums, no egg, no dairy….vegan lah haha!
If you are around Vivo City, do go FOOD REPUBLIC go LOTUS VEGETARIAN KITCHEN jiak their Thunder Tea dishes. Recommended (my opinion ah!) FOOD REPUBLIC is at 3rd floor where you would take the monorail to Sentosa.
