Tiong Bahru fam, we’ve got exciting news — Old Shifu Charcoal Porridge is getting a glow-up!✨We’re will be closed on the 26 Aug 2025 (Tuesday) and 27 Aug 2025 (Wednesday) for renovation to create a more comfier, cozier, and even more welcoming space for you.

We will be back in action from 1130AM on the 28 Aug 2025 (Thursday) to serve you in a refreshed setting.

Thank you for sticking with us through these 4 delicious years. We can’t wait to welcome you back to our refreshed home soon!

As we celebrate our 4th anniversary, we’re reminded of why we started — to serve from the heart and give back to the community. ❤️

Since day one, we’ve proudly sourced our ingredients fresh from Tiong Bahru Market — especially our fish and veggies. With the market temporarily closing on 14 April, we’ll be sourcing from alternative suppliers, but rest assured, we’re doing our best to maintain the same level of freshness and quality you know and love.

To adapt to this change, we’re also rolling out new dishes to bring more variety to your table during this period. Your continued support gives us the confidence to keep improving — and we’re working towards making our meals even more affordable for fellow residents and new customers alike.
