Dimsum & Taro Dumplings with such a thick yam paste filling?! What about super affordable XLB & dumplings all in one place 🤭 You can find them here at ARC380, with a good variety of food you'd be spoilt for choice!
• 大三元 Fantastic Dim Sum •
Deep Fried Taro with Charsiew ($4/ 2pcs)
Just look that the thick taro paste here!! This was served hot and really crispy, and they were so generous w the taro paste! Altho I wouldn't mind the yam flavour to stand out even more 🤭.
Otah Siew Mai ($4.50/ 3pcs)
A unique flavour to find in siew mai, but was surprised it did taste like otah. Q an interesting one imo.
• 鑫鹏拉面刀削面 Jin Peng La Mian Dao Xiao Mian •
Xiao Long Bao ($6.80/ 10pcs)
Where to find such affordable XLB?! These also seemed larger than usual xlbs actually. Q liked the flavour of the meat and soup within, but skin was too thick for my liking. Pretty decent for the price tho!!
Shan D**g Fried Dumpling ($5/ 10 pcs)
Love how affordable their food is, but sad that this wasn't as crispy as I'd have liked, considering it's "fried". Fillings were decent but nothing special.
Jajiangmian ($4.50)
They defo don't skimp on the portion here, and there's strong meaty flavours here which I kinda enjoyed. Recall the sauce texture to be a bit on the starchy side tho!
• Happy Congee 滿粥了 •
The porridge was extremely smooth (almost 0 rice grains at all), but it also depends on personal preference if you prefer this kind of texture for your porridge.
🌟 Pineapple fried rice ($8)
From the Thai stall beside the Chinese dumplings store, this turned out to be the best dish out of everything we tried. Ngl a bit pricey, but the flavour of the rice was good! The dish could also do with more meat floss tho 🤭.
If you're up for variety, here's defo a place you can check out! Wouldn't mind coming back to try the other dimsum, or the tzechar stall here! The famous Prince Noodles is also here btw 🤭.
