Mont Blanc – A Journey That Started in Melbourne 🇦🇺

During my holiday in Melbourne, I had the pleasure of trying the Mont Blanc drink, and as someone who typically doesn’t enjoy sugary coffee, I was genuinely impressed. It was just the right balance—not too sweet, just perfect. I knew I had to share this experience with my customers. After months of experimenting (about 8 months, to be exact!), I’m proud to say that the version we serve now is incredibly close to the one I had in Melbourne.☕

However, over the past few months, I’ve noticed a decline in demand for the Mont Blanc. As more and more cafes have started offering it, we no longer see the same excitement or the benefits we once did from serving the drink. With this in mind, we made the decision to remove it from the menu.

But here’s the good news! To satisfy those who still love it, we’ll be whipping up one batch of cream on the last weekend of the month. It’ll be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure to grab yours while you can!

Thank you to everyone who’s supported the Mont Blanc journey. I’m excited for what’s to come!

Papua New Guinea - Arufa Ax

This special lot from Monpi coffee is made entirely from smallholder farms from Jiwaka Province. The region’s high altitudes and fertile lands not only help to provide the optimum setting for coffee growing, but also microclimate providing lots from Arufa their unique characteristics.

During our cupping sessions, we’ve been able to highlight out this notes:
- Strawberry
- Cranberry
- Red Currant
- Rose
- Cacao Nibs

This coffee will only be available as an Espresso roast. Will be great as both a milk based or a black coffee due to its bright notes!

Mexico - Guodalupe Zaju

Finca Guadalupe Zaju occupies 310 hectares right on Chiapas, Mexico’s famed ‘Ruta de Cafe’. This ‘Route of Coffee’ rides along the Guatemalan border, north from the border town of Tapachula, through Mexico’s famed Soconusco region. The route flows past some of Mexico’s most famous farms – including the Fincas Hamburgo and Irlanda. A neighbour of these farms, Guadalupe Zaju is well on its way to helping carry on the region’s (somewhat diminished in recent years) reputation as a location for high quality coffee.

During our cupping sessions, we’ve been able to highlight out this notes:
- Passionfruit
- Green Tea
- Sour Pineapple
- Genmaicha

This coffee will only be available as a filter roast and it’s something that we are very excited to share with you!
