Deep red, hand-picked coffee cherries neatly laid on drying beds on a hill slope overlooking the sprawling Shan Hills. Farmers meticulously rake the coffee cherries to ensure even drying for a sweeter, fruitier flavor. This is Sin Net Chaung Village in Ywangan, Shan State led by U Pyae Phyo Maung. As he looks on, much like a vast landscape, the future of Myanmar coffee holds a breathtaking potential. We can only do our part to advocate Myanmar Specialty Coffee wherever we are so more people get to experience the good cup in it.
