Food was absolutely amazing and I actually would reccomend this place to people despite the pricey-ness of it! I wanna ask where at my Punggolians or East siders at, because you guys should totally head down during lunch hour to try if you are wfh or are doing hbl! But tbh wherever ya’ll at if can make it for their weekday lunch just come down n try cos the set lunch is rlly not bad!

They have this set lunch that comes with a mini side (tofu/salad), tea, ice cream and your main of choice which I would recco topping up for the Beef Don because that was absolutely 👌🏻! But other options of mains includes Tendon, Spicy Kani Salmon Don, Ramen and Mentai Salmon roll (+$4).

Was delicious but ngl felt abit cheated when half of the rice or maybe 1/3 is covered with egg instead if my sashimi cubes 🥹however the sashimi was fresh and marinated well and there were plenty of other small appetisers like wakame, pickles, ginger and wasabi going on within the bowl. There was a generous portion of rice which was your good ole’ sticky sushi rice. But I’m not a heavy rice fan so I think this bowl is shareable with another person? But I think if you are a medium-big eater you can easily finish this 🤡
All in all worth a shot! Especially during the weekday lunch hours!

- King Salmon Mentai Roll is indeed the king. This is so good and satisfying.The Ebi Tempura is in large portion too....

Went to Gaku Sushi Bar at Northshore for dinner.

Here’s is what we ordered
1. Cha Soba ($13.20)
2. Meltique Beef Don ($24.20)
3. Spicy Salmon Handroll ($4.40)
4. Maguro Sashimi ($13.20)
5. Yasai Tempura ($9.90)

Out of everything we have ordered, our favourite was the Meltique Beef Don & Spicy Salmon Handroll. We wanted to get the Foie Gras Beef Don however it was out of stock.

Overall, this place is worth a try. We strongly recommend everyone trying the Meltique Beef Don ✌️
