This Querciabella Palafreno 2012 is a true reflection of the winery’s dedication to biodynamic and organic farming practices and the winery is certified carbon neutral. Producing wines that not only tastes exceptional but also embodies a commitment to the environment and the community.

The grapes are handpicked and carefully selected to ensure only the highest quality fruit is used. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, adding to its complexity and depth of flavor. This bottle is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes that is produced from the vineyards planted on two types of soil. The "marnes" refers to marl, a type of soil composed of clay and limestone, while "cailottes" refers to a pebbly limestone soil. The terroirs of Marnes and Caillottes work compliment each other to create a complex wine ~ creating a wine that is both fruity and mineral, with a complexity that is hard to beat.

They are known for their commitment to using sustainable and organic farming practices, which help to produce wines that are both delicious and environmentally friendly.

Seasonal produce is at its peak freshness and flavour during its natural growing season. When paired with natural wine such as the ones from Ridge Vineyard, which is typically made with minimal intervention and additives, the flavours of the produce can shine through.
