10 years ago, Yuzutei started with a simple dream — sharing our love for Yuzu Shabu.
We built Yuzutei from nothing,
I stumbled, made wrong decisions, and doubted myself many times.
But every mistake became part of the lessons that built Yuzutei.
We were never the biggest name.
Never the trendiest place.
“Just a small team showing up for 15 hours every single day.”
The smiles of our customers became the greatest reward of all.
Along this journey, we were blessed with customers, partners, and friends who believed in us. Some even became part of our story.
Special thanks to Dr Leslie Tay, , and for being part of our journey.
But behind the kitchen and service floor…
There is someone who walked this entire road with me.
Through every high and low, every doubt and long night — she never left my side.
Thank you for holding Yuzutei together with me ❤️
As we slowly prepare to close this chapter of our restaurant journey, we are deeply grateful for every bowl shared, every conversation, and every smile across the table.
