The technique to make the sambal itself is an arduous process where many different processes are required to ensure the sweetness of all the natural ingredients are properly extracted. Our range of sambals were inspired after our first trip to Semarang previously when we visited our helper’s village. It was then when we were introduced to her city’s sambal when we had our first bite into a dish with the sambal served. We completely fell in love with the sambal and because of that tremendous amount of love, we eventually learned how to cook the sambals on our own.
