*NOTICE OF CLOSURE*
Dear Beloved Customers,
After more than 5 years of sincere effort (spiritually, physically, mentally and monetarily) to reach out to our fellow Singaporeans our unique, homecook style pork soup, we are announcing our retirement and closure of our Chinatown store at the last week of March with a heavy heart.
Despite our best efforts, we have faced numerous challenges recently, from the struggles of operating in a challenging location to hiring difficulties. We also found it difficult to sustain our business due to the lack of local support for creative and locally inspired food even though our food proves to be highly rated, priced at very affordable price and of great value. We are very much discouraged and disappointed, but we have no regrets for we have given our very best with the intention to provide an alternative pork soup to our local food scene.
We are deeply grateful for those who have supported us on this journey. Your continuous patronage and encouragement have meant the world to us and kept us going for a very long time.
We are also thankful to NEA's Incubation Stall Program for giving us the opportunity for a head start to share our food at the hawker centre and also, the numerous food bloggers that help share our food, such as Makansutra, Miss Tam Chiak, Seth Lui, Singapore Best Foods, Saigoneer, ST Life, TNP, Happy Cat, and many that I may not been able to name them. We are truly grateful for your coverage to help us reach out to more people.
While this chapter is coming to an end, we cherish the memories and connections made along the way. We are most happy to have offered and served great value food that we are proud to say, the only one in Singapore and in fact, in the world as our pork soup are created from scratch and an original recipe.
We may revive at some point in time should opportunity arise as we are open for collaboative partnership and hope to secure the right partner to either grow our store or mass production of our signature meatball paste.
