“We visited Thai Village at Goodwood Park for a festive meal and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

We opted for the CNY Set C and chose the ‘One Person, One Pot’ shark’s fin. To my surprise, every single dish in the set was yummy! The quality was consistent across the board, and the shark’s fin was a definite highlight — the portions were so generous that some of my colleagues couldn’t even finish theirs!

The service crew here is incredibly attentive and patient. When a few of us asked to take away the remaining shark’s fin so our families could try it at home, the staff handled it perfectly. What really impressed us was their attention to detail — the waitress even asked if we needed extra coriander, bean sprouts and vinegar to go with the takeaway portions and packed them separately to keep the taste fresh.

A fantastic dining experience with top-notch service. We left feeling very well taken care of.”

Thai Village Restaurant, located within the historic Goodwood Park Hotel, is a premier destination for Chinese Thai-Teochew cuisine. Known for its upscale yet comfortable atmosphere, it is a popular choice for business lunches and family gatherings where traditional delicacies are served with high standards of service. There’s many private rooms.

This is the restaurant’s most famous dish, featuring a full comb of shark’s fin simmered in a rich, “golden” chicken stock that takes days to prepare. It is typically served in a clay pot with fresh crab meat, beansprouts, and cilantro.

One of my favorite dish is the claypot chicken.
