WE’RE HIRING A SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER 📸

Our social media manager is going on a 9-10 month maternity leave, so from November we’re looking for someone to take over the Greasy Spoon and Sunny Bay internet while she’s away.

It’s a 4-day-a-week role, so not quite full-time but definitely enough time to get properly stuck in.

You’ll be creating content for Instagram and TikTok, shooting food, people and all the little things that make the restaurants what they are, coming up with campaigns and ideas, planning the month ahead, writing our monthly newsletter and keeping an eye on the numbers with simple stats and reporting.

Think Christmas campaigns, giveaways, new menu launches, specials, the occasional ridiculous reel and whatever else you think we should be doing.

We’re looking for someone who actually understands social media. You don’t need ten years of experience or a camera collection worthy of a small production company, but you do need to know your way around content, have ideas and be able to turn those ideas into something people want to watch.

This could be a really good opportunity for someone early in their social media career who wants to get properly hands-on and have a lot of creative freedom. We have a camera you can use, so owning your own is not a requirement.

Restaurant or hospitality experience is a bonus. Curiosity, creativity and knowing why you’re posting something in the first place are rather important.

Starting November. 4 days a week. 9-10 month maternity cover.
