Christmas at Tornvillan – by Mathias Dahlgren

For the third year, we invite you to Christmas at Tornvillan, created together with our friends at Mathias Dahlgren. Executive Chef Henrik Wittgren and the Mathias Dahlgren team bring together cherished family recipes and personal favourites, followed by a generous dessert table on the veranda. The evening begins by the fire with warming glögg and views over the water, before the doors to Tornvillan open to a classic Swedish Christmas buffet, traditionally enjoyed over seven rounds.

Autumn is approaching, bringing a new rhythm and new routines for body and mind.

Each week, we offer a curated wellness program with classes and guided sauna rituals. Choose between recovery, focused on rest and restoration, and dynamic, centered around energy, movement and flow.

Our sauna rituals draw on Nordic bathing traditions, combining heat and cooling techniques with sound and essential oils, guided by experienced sauna masters. Add a cold plunge for an invigorating contrast.

For a more personal experience, explore treatments from aroma massage to reiki, or personal training including pilates reformer. Our Panorama sauna can also be booked privately for groups of up to 12, with or without a sauna master.

Throughout the season, we’ve gathered daily for yoga, breathwork, sauna rituals and moments dedicated to both body and mind. Thank you to everyone who has joined us and made wellbeing such a beautiful part of summer at Hotel J.

Thank you for this summer, Timian. 🌿

For every dinner by the water. Every glass raised as the sun went down. For long evenings, beautiful conversations and all of you who came to eat, drink and spend a little of your summer with us.

Timian is now closing for the season, but the team behind our summer restaurant is far from taking a break. We are turning our attention to celebrations of every kind, from weddings and special occasions to private dinners and events, creating memorable moments here by the water throughout the seasons.
