Hello its Heléne here!
I want to say a few words about my amazing husband Robert and the great love of my life🥰
I never imagined that when he told me in january,"I have got a really good job.I have joined the Skandinavian Street Food Tour 2026.I didnt thought it would turn into this.
"We are 20 Foodtrucks traveling to different cities around Sweden,serving Food at Food festivals.
"Great",i thougth."That will be good extra money and fun for Robert."
But it turned out not to be three weeks at all-it became every weekend from March until Septemeber,Thursday to Sunday,for six whole months.
You must be joking i said,that can not be true..."
"But i will come home for a few days in between," he said.
Robert probably did not realize that working in places like Piteå,Luleå,Kiruna,Örsnsköldsvik and other northen cities is simply too far away to travel home between events. So now we have been apart for 7 weeks already,and before he finished the northen part of the tour,it will have been 11 weeks without seeing eatch other.
Im happy for facetime😁
After that,he will slowly make his way down though the country,starting with Halmstad and then furter south to Skåne ,Helsingborg,Malmö and Ystad,and it will finally be easier for him to come home in between.
This has truly been a real test for both of us.
-for me,being here alone taking care of the house ,work,animals and for Robert,sometime sleeping in the front seat in the Foodtruck,when the truck could not start. Working very long hours in weather and wind and tired feet .So i think he can stay at a hotel the rest of his time now.
And honestly,where does he find his strength?
Robert stand alone in the Foodtruck ,handling everything by himself.Yet he always have a smile on his face,never complains,always stays positiv,kees looking forward,strong and dependable.
Some people ask,why do you not go visit him.I have thought about flying many times,but it is simply to expensive for that little trip and to long with the train.I will rather wait.Longing for each other is actually good for a relationship.
