Open everyday 12.00-20.00 June-July-August. Gimårasten is a small restaurant & cafe along road E14 in Sweden. We offer good food, local products, tourist information and fishing cards for the river Gimån and other waters in Bräcke. We are open in some May, full June-July-August every day between 12:00 and 20:00. Gimårasten specializes in food prepared from local produce. Most of our meat & cheese

comes from local farms, the ice cream is made in Bräcke from solely natural products, pastries we bake ourselves. There are always seasonal dishes and treats to be found at our place. With love for food and flavors we bring you all that the region has to offer at its best. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do :)

Did you know? Tex-Mex Cusine emerged in the late 19th century, with Mexican immigrants bringing their traditional recipes and ingredients to Texas. This fusion of Mexican and Texan flavors soon became a global favorite. Think grilled veggies, juicy meats, creamy sauces, and a colorful fiesta on your plate!😍

🔥 What is a fajita?The word comes from faja (Spanish word for “strip”), because the veggies — and meat if you choose — are sliced and grilled to perfection. Served sizzling hot with onions and peppers. Wrap it in a soft tortilla, top it your way, and enjoy!

🧀 What is a quesadilla?From queso (cheese) + tortilla, it’s a cheesy, toasted delight. We make it with grilled vegetables inside and of course a lot of cheese, creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
