Petite Cassagne feels like the South of France: sun-warmed vineyards, dry wind, long lunches that turn into dinners…
On the nose: ripe red berries, with a hint of spice.
On the palate: round and generous.
Perfect with grilled beef, mushroom risotto or your all time favorite cheese croquettes, it will lift those dishes with elegance and this " je ne sais quoi" very frenchy !
And yes, it’s bold enough to pair beautifully with our chocolate mousse too !

Glenelly Unoaked Chardonnay
No oak means no fuss, just a pure Chardonnay from the cooler slopes of Stellenbosch. Citrus, green apple, and a clean mineral tension that makes every sip so fresh and so clean !
It pairs beautifully with our salmon fillet, it lifts the flavors, refreshes the palate between two bites of this dish.
A perfect wine for good food, good company, and those slow conversations : exactly the kind of moments we love at Poivre Noir.

Vallée des Rois, a Gamay from Touraine is exactly that : bright red fruit, a touch of spice, and a silky finish. Perfect match for our chicken ballotine as the freshness of the Gamay cuts through the richness of our poulette sauce beautifully. And with our tomato & burrata risotto, it’s pure balance : creamy, tangy, fruity, smooth. Nothing fights , everything flows through your palate.

On paper, tagliata is simple : grilled, sliced beef, a touch of salt and pepper, and the taste of wood-fired heat. But in real life… you also need a sauce ( or what we call a jus in this case) with character & depth to go with it, and of course the pecorino sprinkled just right.

Here, everything comes from the thousand hills : Rwandan beef sirloin, pecorino made in Rwandan by , and a little bit of Poivre Noir Kigali !

Bourgueil, le rouge qui ne force jamais, surprend et séduit à coup sûr .
Né sur les coteaux de Loire, où il fait frais et ensoleillé en général, pas de robe lourde ni de tanins trop forts , ici on est dans la finesse.
Cabernet Franc pur , un cépage qui sait être à la fois tendre et un peu insolent , des notes de fruits rouges , petite touche poivrée, et une fraicheur qui donne envie d’un deuxième verre…
Historiquement, le Bourgueil a toujours été le rouge “facile à boire” des tables de bistrot : avec les grillades , du fromage ou des plats en sauce. Il a ce côté naturellement élégant, mais pas prétentieux !

Bref : simple mais pas simpliste ! Un des favoris. Vous l'avez testé ?

Born on the slopes of the Loire, where it’s usually fresh and sunny, no heavy robe or overpowering tannins here, it’s all about finesse.
100% Cabernet Franc, the grape that can be both tender and a little cheeky: red fruits, a hint of pepper, and a freshness that makes you reach for a second glass…
Historically, Bourgueil has always been the “easy-drinking” red at the table: perfect with summer grills, cheese, or hearty dishes. It has that naturally elegant vibe, never pretentious.
In short: simple, but never simplistic!
