If Mira has been sitting somewhere on your list of places to try, maybe this is the week 😊
We’re part of Bucharest Food Week - put together by the lovely people at ialoc.ro and Calatorii si Farfurii | Travel and Plates - a good excuse to discover new places around the city, or go back to the ones you already like.
For the occasion, we created a special combo: pulled duck confit bao buns, beef tagliata with truffle & potato chips, and a glass of w**e of your choosing.
119 lei, until September 20th, with bookings through ialoc.
See you around 💛

A couple of day ago, we opened Between Earth and Table, together with Ioana Moldovan

An evening over a few glasses, many conversations and a lot of people stopping to look a little closer.

Thank you, Ioana, for bringing your soul work to Mira — and thank you to everyone who came and made the evening as nice as it was 🫶

The photographs are staying with us for a while, so if you missed the opening, come by and take your time with them.

A new photo exhibition is coming to Mira 🤍

On September 9th, we’re opening Between Earth and Table, a photography exhibition by Ioana Moldovan — documentary photographer, photojournalist and writer whose work has taken her from everyday life in Romania to conflict zones and communities around the world.

This time, her camera turns towards something seemingly ordinary: food — and everything that exists before it reaches our table.

Between Earth and Table follows the journey from landscape to plate, looking at the places, people, work and rituals behind what we eat.

The exhibition moves from territory to intimacy, from collective environments to individual rituals. It’s a story about sustenance, but also about climate, tradition, belonging and the quiet relationships between people and the environments they depend on.

We’re very happy to have Ioana with us for the opening, so come meet her, see the exhibition and stay for a drink and a conversation.

Opening — September 9th, from 18:30
at Mira.

This exhibition is brought to you with the support of Serena 1881

AN●NIMUL is back in Bucharest for its annual retrospective, September 3rd–6th at Cinema Elvire Popesco, and we thought we’d mark the occasion together.

And since this year marks the festival’s 23rd edition, we’re making 23 our lucky number for the week.

Starting today and until Friday, bill no. 23 and bill no. 46 — every 23rd bill of the day — each get a double invitation to the weekend screenings taking place on Saturday & Sunday, September 5th–6th 🎬

No contest, no forms, just good timing 😊 Come by and you might leave with some great plans for the weekend 🫶

So, see you around. And see you at the movies!

Good weather, a table in the garden and something good to share. Pretty much all you need on a weekend 🌿
