Growing our network. Strengthening the connections that matter.

We’re delighted to welcome our latest BCCQ members and thank them for choosing to be part of the British Chamber of Commerce Qatar.

Our membership is about more than a company name in a directory. It’s about being part of an internationally governed Chamber, with strong networks across Qatar, the UK and the wider GCC, and a programme designed to create genuine value for the businesses and people within our network.

From networking and social events to business briefings, industry insight and opportunities to meet the people shaping business, there’s plenty happening across BCCQ, particularly as we head into some of our busiest months of the year.

Thinking about joining us? Now is a great time.

Your BCCQ membership runs for 12 full months from the date you join, giving you a full year to make the most of the network, events and opportunities available to members.

To our newest members — welcome to BCCQ. We’re very pleased to have you with us and look forward to working with you.

An evening of networking, wellbeing and practical business insight.

At BCCQ, our events are an opportunity to bring people together, but we also want to ensure that the knowledge and expertise within our network can be shared in ways that offer genuine value to our members.

This Wednesday 7 October, we’re bringing members and business professionals together at Al Messila for an evening with Kayleigh Basford, exploring The Human Side of Performance: Managing Stress to Prevent Burnout.

Kayleigh’s 40-minute interactive session will look at:

• Understanding the difference between stress and burnout
• Recognising early warning signs
• Protecting your energy and establishing healthier boundaries
• The role organisations can play in creating healthier ways of working

With World Mental Health Day on 10 October, it is a timely conversation for anyone working in today’s demanding business environment, whether you are leading a team, building a business or contributing to one.

Alongside the session, there will be plenty of time to network in the beautiful surroundings of Al Messila, with a drink voucher, refreshments, small bites and a special BCCQ Happy Hour menu included in with your ticket.

Wednesday 7 October | 5:30–7:30pm
Al Messila – The Matchbox

Advance registration is required; tickets will not be available to purchase on the evening.

Join us for an event that combines meaningful networking with insight you can take back to the workplace.

Tickets can be secured via the link in our bio, BCCQ Upcoming Events.

On time. On budget. And a waste of both?

What if delivering a project exactly as planned doesn’t necessarily mean it delivered the value that was needed?

In our latest BCCQ Member Insight, Kayleigh Basford explores the difference between inside-out and outside-in organisations, and why businesses need to look beyond internal processes and measures of success to consider the people, customers and stakeholders they are ultimately serving.

It’s a thought-provoking read, and one that connects closely with the conversations we want to bring to our events.

On 7 October, Kayleigh will join us at Al Messila for an interactive session on stress, occupational burnout and workplace wellbeing, combining practical insight with relaxed networking.

We’re proud to have members like Kayleigh who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise with the wider BCCQ network, giving us all the opportunity to learn something we can take back to the workplace.

Supporting our members means helping them access the knowledge and expertise that matter to their businesses.

We were pleased to support the third edition of Doha Arbitration Days, bringing together more than 500 judges, arbitrators, counsel, experts and academics from Qatar and beyond.

The event explored the evolving relationship between arbitration and the courts, commercial disputes, and how the profession is responding to a changing business environment.

We were particularly pleased to receive a note of thanks from Dr Saad Al-Muhannadi, Chairman of Ciarb Qatar Branch, who highlighted the alignment between our organisations:

“Both bodies work at the meeting point of UK and Qatari professional practice.”

Ciarb has also expressed an interest in building on the relationship through future briefings and training opportunities for BCCQ members.

We look forward to continuing the conversation and creating further opportunities for our members to access specialist knowledge and expertise.

An evening of networking, with a twist.

On 7 October, we’re pleased to welcome Kayleigh Basford to BCCQ for an honest and practical conversation around stress, occupational burnout and workplace wellbeing, during our evening networking.

As a Chamber, supporting our BCCQ members means more than creating business connections. It also means recognising the importance of the people behind the businesses we represent in our membership.

In recognition of World Mental Health Day on 10 October, Kayleigh will hold a 40-minute interactive session, where she will share practical insight into recognising the difference between stress and burnout, alongside her own experience of navigating stress and recovery.

Expect an evening combining relaxed networking, good conversation and practical insight — with the opportunity to take something useful back into your workplace.

Ticket prices include entry to the event with 1 drink voucher, hot & cold small bites and soft drinks, juices & water for the duration of the event. There will be a cash bar + BCCQ Happy Hour menu throughout the evening

We look forward to welcoming you on 7 October 2026 at Al Messila, Doha - 5:30PM start.

Whether you’re joining us as a BCCQ member, bringing a colleague or simply looking for an evening that offers something a little different, we’d love to see you there.

Tickets available via the link in our bio under Upcoming Events.

Strong relationships with organisations that shape the UK–Qatar business landscape are an important part of the BCCQ role.

Our continued relationship with the British Embassy provides BCCQ with a valuable base within the Embassy and supports regular engagement with colleagues across the diplomatic and business environment. This day-to-day connection enables us to share insight, maintain open channels of communication and, where appropriate, connect our members with relevant people, organisations and opportunities.

We are also pleased to be strengthening our relationship with Invest Qatar, by establishing a BCCQ office presence within its new Lusail offices. This provides another practical opportunity for closer engagement with the investment and business ecosystem in Qatar, building on the joint work undertaken earlier this year around UK–Qatar trade and investment in our joint report.

For BCCQ, these relationships are not simply about having access to a network. They help us develop a programme that brings people together and responds to the needs of our business community.

Throughout 2026, we have continued to develop a programme combining networking with business insight, sector-specific discussion and opportunities to engage with organisations and individuals who can add value to our members.

As we enter the final quarter of the year, we will continue to develop this approach, including more focused, industry-specific events and smaller discussions shaped by the conversations we are having with our network.

It was particularly fitting that our Celebration Evening brought these relationships together, with Duncan Hill OBE, Deputy Ambassador at the British Embassy Doha, and Aalia Al-Khater, Investment Development Officer at Invest Qatar, joining us as guest speakers.

We are grateful to both organisations for their continued support and engagement as BCCQ develops its role and looks ahead to the next stage of its work.

We look forward to continuing to bring our network together and creating further opportunities for our members to engage, exchange insight and build meaningful business relationships.

More of the people behind BCCQ.

One post simply wasn't enough.

With so many of our members and sponsor partners joining us for the Celebration Evening, we wanted to keep sharing some of the faces that make up the BCCQ network.

From established organisations and professional services firms to growing businesses and individuals working across a wide range of sectors, our members are at the heart of BCCQ.

So here are a few more of the people who joined us to celebrate this next chapter.

And to everyone who came along — thank you for being part of BCCQ.

We are looking forward to continuing to build the Chamber with you.

The people behind BCCQ

Our Celebration Evening was about marking an important milestone for BCCQ, but most importantly, it was about bringing together the people who make the Chamber what it is.

More than 150 members and sponsor partners joined us at Park Hyatt Doha, reflecting the breadth of businesses and professionals that make up our growing network.

Today, BCCQ represents 250+ members and 120 organisations across a wide range of sectors and business interests.

But a Chamber is about more than numbers.

It is the people in the room.
The expertise they share.
The conversations they contribute to.
The introductions they make.
The opportunities that come from being part of the network.

To every organisation and individual who has chosen to be part of BCCQ — thank you.

Your membership, participation and support are what give the Chamber its value.
