This Saturday 19.3 evening we take you to explore the flavors of Italy 🇮🇹
Let’s begin with antipasti - as starters - the way Italians do: artichokes, olives, sundried tomatoes and cheese with bread.

Main dish is pasta with rich tomatoes sauce, cooked with ground meat (ragù) or with aubergine for the vegan version.

We will end the meeting with the tiramisù, one of the most known dessert in Italy.

Aperol Spritz will be also available

This Saturday evening we take you to explore the flavors of Italy 🇮🇹
Let’s begin with antipasti - as starters - the way Italians do: artichokes, olives, sundried tomatoes and cheese with bread.

There are many ways to make fresh noodles. Perhaps the most unique method is the “hand-pulled” method (which originated in China). It may sound intimidating, but it’s not difficult at all.

At this Fresh Noodles Workshop, we’ll guide you through the entire noodle making process. Once we finish, you’ll be able to sit down and enjoy your very own handmade noodles!

This event consists of:
- a 2-hour equipment-free fresh noodle making workshop. We’ll share every steps (and tips) with you about hand-pulled noodles.
- a 3 course sit-down dinner

The Chinese-themed menu includes:
- welcome drink
- appetiser (vegan)
- your handmade noodles (meat/vegan)
- dessert (vegan)

Price is 30€ per person

Hi friends, as you might already know, this weekend is the "Inaugurações Simultâneas de Miguel Bombarda" where Art Galleries and shops will invite you to visit their exhibitions. There will be a lot to experiment and see, and you might end up hangry: we have you covered 😉

We start Friday with the Malaysian Curry House event.

We will be serving Chicken Korma (or Tofu for vegan option) as main dish, cooked with potatoes and served with savoury fragrant rice. Side dish is pickle salad consisting of pineapple, cucumber, onion, chillies, cilantro and crackers.

For appetizers, you can try our deep fried Samosa with potato, pea, curry and spices. Served with cilantro chutney and sweet tamarind chutney

For dessert we have an exclusive stunning 🤩 Chai Spice Cake with cardamom and rose water coconut whipped cream. And - amazingly - it is all vegan!

Prices:
- Appetizer: Samosas 2€
- Main: Chicken (or tofu) korma 8.5€
- Dessert: Chai spice cake 3€

Hello food lovers,

This week we will have some exciting popup and workshop.
Will start Friday with Malaysia 🇲🇾 Curry House event that will bring to you the taste of south East Asian curry: scented spice rice as main dish and curry samosas as appetizers.

Saturday will serve an Italian 🇮🇹 dinner that will include aperitivo, pasta and tiramisu.

Sunday will end with a workshop+dinner event where you will learn how to make your own Fresh Noodles and eat them all!

The Orthodox Cafe opens its door to the Sichuan Spice Night event hosted by .

The journey continues will to the Chinese province of Sichuan in eastern China next to Tibet, where chicken is prepared in a mouthwatering traditional way, the so called Saliva Chicken.

The chicken is poached in an aromatic broth, then served in a chilli oil sauce (which integrates bold and rich flavours from spices like Sichuan peppercorn, Bird’s-eye chilli, star anise, etc.). Every bite is spicy, tangy, savoury and mouthwatering. Hence the name, Saliva Chicken.
The dish is usually served cool. So this time, we decided to pair it with rice noodles in a hot broth.
For those who prefer things non-spicy, we can replace the chilli oil sauce with a mild sesame sauce.
Vegan option is available.

We will be serving appetizer, the Vegan dumplings with minced tofu, sh*take mushroom and napa cabbage served with a chilli dip.

For main dish you can choose between chicken with noodles or vegan option.

For dessert, you can have Pandan Jelly with coconut milk and young coconut strips.

Prices:
- Dumplings: 2,5€
- Saliva Chicken (or vegan option): 8,5€
- Pandan jelly and coconut milk: 2,5€

Learn how to make homemade Tortillas, eat your own creations and make new friends.

The event consists of:
- 1.5 hours equipment-free Tortillas workshop where you will learn and make your own tortillas from scratch, with local ingredients.
- 3 course sit-down fun and delicious Latin dinner experience.

The menu includes:
- Welcome drink (cocktail, wine, beer..)
- Tiradito: marinated fish Peruvian style
- Pork Belly Tacos (roasted avocado and tomato more, onions, cilantro sauce)
- Creamy corn cake
