O braseiro acendeu-se. As mesas encheram-se. E o resto aconteceu naturalmente.
No dia 26 de setembro, juntámos à mesa oito momentos, vinhos escolhidos para os acompanhar e uma noite de final de verão junto ao Douro. Foi uma noite especial e o início de muitas outras que queremos viver à volta do nosso braseiro.
A quem se sentou à nossa mesa, obrigado. Esperamos voltar a receber-vos em breve.

The fire was lit. The tables filled up. And the rest happened naturally.
On September 26, we gathered around the table for eight courses, w**es selected to accompany them, and a late-summer evening by the Douro. It was a special evening, and the beginning of many more we hope to share around our fire.
