After almost three years of working on Taсt, a wonderful community has formed around us.
We realized that we want to bring together people who share similar values and interests, such as high-quality products, balanced flavors, and small-scale production.
That’s how we came up with the idea of organizing coffee meetings in unusual venues, most often places connected with our guests or our personal favorites.
Each time, we will introduce you to places and their creators who do something real, honest, and non-mainstream.
This is a series of meetings that will not overlap thematically.
On our part, there will be short lectures about coffee without being boring, and tastings of different varieties.
We want to maintain curiosity about the product and the ease of its use in different situations; these will not be lectures for professionals in the coffee industry.
Our hosts will talk about their project.
There will also be something tasty to go with the coffee.
Our first hosts will be Lucas and Antoine, who rented an old garage for agricultural equipment on a hill near Ericeira.
Lucas makes furniture .gioux, Antoine runs workshops on making wooden surfboards .surfboards.
They are inspired by the Japanese approach to carpentry: respect for the material and uncompromising precision in every detail.
The place looks exactly as it should look for people who love what they do.
