Hi All - we are ending our year out this 2024 with our first Women’s Wine Circle. This has been a project on my mind for many money months and finally it’s coming to life. Our women’s wine circles will be an opportunity to connect, relax and release with a guided meditation followed by wine and rock and roll dance party. The theme for this first circle will the RELEASE as we make our way towards the new year. RSVP is required for this session 🙏

And like that the holidays have arrived and our first season being back open in Lisbon is behind us. It has been blast getting back to our rainbow rolls with cafe door open these last months. Though we have found surprisingly Lisbon has more of a demand for our healing services and wholesale cold brew than anything else. Letting you guys take the lead we have reset the space up to welcome you for these services on a deeper level and to begin offing classes, programs, and events within this space of healing and community. We will have some special offers and course announcements coming soon and hears our new services list. Everything is on appointment only. We also will be opening our space back up to those looking to bring their services to Lisbon when guest practitioners are passing through the city or in a more permanent setting with our practitioner memberships. We would love to have your magic in our space if you feel calls to all info currently on our website. ✨

It’s finally happening friends!!!! ❤️🙏❤️ The first of our events have been added to the calendar (link in bio) for our new space. I’m so happy with this new giant space we are able to host more family focused events and with our safe location in the square near the marina with no car traffic the babes are safe to play inside and out as the grownups play.

More detailed description of the events on our website and everything is currently walk up with no RSVP required. Still some cheeky music to add to this soon too 😏😉 with one of our cherished Amour veteran musicians … also coming soon. Hope to see you all soon!

You guys demanded and I answered 😅 originally I made Cabala Mama shirts for myself and my friends as a JOKE a good laugh - in response to our legal abusers constant claims there’s a Cabala of women “out to get him” in response to his victims speaking out. I live my life by this: “if it’s not fun make it funny” and this is a prime example of that but to my surprise so many people contacted me asking for their own! I’m not gonna say I’m surprised but once again the most popular item on our menu our first week is the incredible banana bread by our lovely baker Rute ❤️ people think I’m crazy for driving up north to pick these breads up but THIS is why. When you find a good thing ya keep it. Breakfast all day long 8am -4pm (closed Sundays) ✨

And like THAT we are OPEN in LISBON!!! Soft launch this week as we settle into our new home but our cold brew, rainbow rolls, and good old tummy’s (yes the banana bread 🥳) are available with our thumbs up filled little family ready to welcome you (alongside a few friendly new faces!) in our HUGE new space in Lisbon. Come out on the 31st 7pm to celebrate with us we will have music, drinks, and all your old faves on tap, , and waiting for you. Can’t wait to see you all soon and get a little boogie in ❤️✨

Hi everyone - I'm proud to put this post, I’ve written a guidebook about how to navigate the legal system here (in English) and how to protect yourself in Portugal if you are leaving abuse or find yourself in this situation - a book I wish I had three years ago when my own story of leaving abuse began.

While I don’t know it all and am not a lawyers, I have seen how even the basic info isn’t readily available and the struggle to navigate these stressful situations can be. I put all I've learned in one place for us to use together to defend ourselves in this broken system.

We will be joining the international women’s strike taking place June 24th across the world here in Portugal. With my business finally reopening in Lisbon soon this day, this cause is personal after what we have overcome. As a woman in this country I have countless stories of being treated less than, abused, bullied and ridiculed just for existing. But I have overcome and will continue making change as I do it- keeping my heart open and soft as I do it - building safe spaces and community as I do it. What I wasn’t prepared for was being connected to countless other Portuguese victims of the system and its oppressors in this process. The doors on Amour may have been closed these two years but the community building we naturally do far from stopped. The sad thing is these abuses happen in our own neighbors homes and your neighbourhood too - to women you see every single day most feeling too stuck or scared to speak out and ask for help so you would never know because frankly they aren’t safe in this system and it’s common knowledge which is the heart breaking thing - accountability is far from possible because things are kept hidden and silent. If you are privileged enough to live here and not witnessed or been informed of abuse YOU hold the power to help make the most change speaking out and helping create a safe space for others with your privilege. So I invite you to participate this coming June 24th - wear red, hit the streets with us use your voice for the so many other women that can’t speak up for themselves here YOUR neighbors. More than ever with everything we have overcome as a company and family these years it’s reinforced our commitment to community and social change. I am happy to announce our newest project within our new space set to open this month the AMOUR FOOD CO-OP.
