A Little History

Hailing from Molise, in the South East of Italy, Executive Chef and Owner Angelo Bucciero and business partner Terry Little opened Ristorante La Piazza in the Summer of 2002, with a vision of creating Algarve's finest Italian dining experience. Trained in traditional Italian cuisines Angelo and wife Francesca have created a unique and vibrant menu that is served in a relaxing fam

ily atmosphere. Angelo and Francesca have had decades of experience in the restaurant industry whilst living in Italy and UK and decided to make the move to Portugal whilst visiting in 2000 and realising that there was an opportunity to offer the Algarve visitors and locals a true taste of traditional Italian cuisine. The Mission Statement from day one has been to offer to provide diners with the best possible dining experience by offering the tastiest and finest traditional Italian food in a relaxed and family atmosphere and to these to this day these ideals and standards have been maintained.
