Hello Playground family,

As you know, we closed our doors almost a year ago now. But in that time we have been busy reimagining the space.

We are pleased to announce that we have officially opened the doors to our garden center.

Located at the old La Preferida/Playground space.

We have outdoor plants, house plants, fruit trees, soil, pots and more.

My honeymoon with life has been one of the themes that has fascinated me the most lately. We tend to dive headfirst into one area of our lives and find meaning in our existence through that area: a relationship, a job... But what if we could feel that level of connection with everything we experience?

Imagine a life where each moment is cherished and every experience is an opportunity to grow and deeply connect. Not just with the people we love or the activities that bring us joy, but with every aspect of our existence. From sunrise to sunset, from the sound of rain to the smile of a stranger, everything can be a source of connection and inspiration.

When we expand our perception and open our hearts to live each moment with passion and presence, life becomes a continuous honeymoon. This Friday 20:30 | YEMADAS Trio

Aljezur Band, inspired by their travels around the world. Their last one in Bahia led them to be even more inspired by Brazilian music, playing Baião, Xote, Coco, Ijexa, Samba. A trio that likes to make people dance and feel the joy of their music and that doesn’t leave anyone standing still. In this concert they proposes a fusion between his original themes and classic themes from Brazilian music.

We will have popcorn, pizza & drinks at the bar going from 4:00 till 6:30 pm. Come and hang out in our outside area while your kids enjoy their movie 😎

SHOW: Somos Água, Somos Vida (We Are Water, We Are Life) | 12 April / 17:30
Children’s Musical Show composed of two artists, Anitxa Root and Tiago Rouxinol. This show aims to raise awareness for the appreciation of water and the forest and to show the connection between both. We remind you that both water and the forest are fundamental for LIFE. We will learn how your grandmothers used to “call” the rain in the old days. A show for everyone to sing, dance, and feel the beat of our hearts together.
Donation: €5 per person and child

CONCERT: Yemadas | 12 April | Friday, 20:30
The world music band based here in Aljezur will play Brazilian Music, especially Forro, with Baião and Xote, also Coco, Samba, Ijexa with various popular themes and some originals. A concert that promises to get everyone dancing and singing!!! This Friday starting at 20:30 at the Playground.
Donation: €5 per adult (free entry for children) | combo for both shows: €8

We are now part of the Association Alecrim and our mission is to create a vibrant and inclusive space that serves our community on multiple levels.
