A ouvir. A cuidar. A estar presente.
Mudam as gerações.
[EN] There are people who inherit a business. And there are people who inherit a story.
Andreia grew up surrounded by the scent of the kitchen, the sound of the sea, and the rhythm of tables filling up, summer after summer. While guests were creating memories here, she was creating her own.
This is where she spent her childhood. Where she moved between the beach and the restaurant without a second thought. Where she watched her grandparents work and her father and uncle care for every detail. And where she learned, without anyone ever having to teach her, that hospitality is about much more than serving food. It’s about making people feel welcome.
O Golfinho was never just the family business. It was always part of the family.
So when the time came to carry the story forward, there was no decision to make. It was simply the natural next chapter of a journey that had already begun long ago.
Today, she is the one welcoming guests. The one who knows many of them by name. The one who cares about the details that often go unnoticed, yet make all the difference.
Because some things cannot be learned from books or in a classroom. They are learned over time. By watching those who came before us. By listening. By caring. By showing up, day after day.
Three generations have been part of this place.
Thousands of people have become part of its story.
And Andreia is still here, every day, making sure that what started thirty-seven years ago continues to make people feel at home.
Perhaps that is the most beautiful thing about family stories.
The years change. The generations change.
But some places are still built on the same care, the same dedication, and the same passion.
