In Gaza, I have learned that a little child should never have to know what fear sounds like.
My little sister Doha is still so young. She deserves to wake up to laughter, food, safety, and a home not to uncertainty and the sound of war. I hold her in my arms and try to make her smile, even when inside I am terrified about what tomorrow might bring.
My family and I are simply trying to survive. We have lost so much, and every day brings another struggle for food, water, medicine, and safety. Sometimes I feel helpless because all I want is to protect the people I love, especially little Doha.
I am sorry to keep asking for help. I know everyone has their own struggles. But if you can help my family in any way by donating, sharing our story, or simply helping us reach someone who can please do.
For Doha, I keep hoping. For my family, I keep fighting. And for all of us, I pray that one day we can live without fear again. ❤️🩹🇵🇸
