We would like to introduce new Chef de Cuisine of Amarylis Restaurant- Grzegorz Bucki, who became our team member at the beginning of February.
Changing the Chef in a restaurant is not easy, especially for people, for the whole team.
What attributes does a Chef need to have to encourage people to work with him? To convince them that it is worth it? What attributes does a Chef need to become a leader?
Let’s meet Grzegorz then.
We have already known each other as Grzegorz had been working at Amarylis at its very beginning. He had started his culinary adventure next to Rafał Targosz, the owner of restaurant Zakładka. Then he was gaining his experience at Studio Qulinarne, where he could work with 1 Michelin Star chef- Paulo Airaudo. Then he became a Chef of Industrial Resto & Bar in Cracow and when Industrial had closed its door he came back to Amarylis, experienced, ready to work with lots of culinary ideas.
As a person, he is very organized and hard working but we guess, the most imporant thing is that he is modest and focused on building the real team of people, not on building his own name.
Once, he said that the fact that he is a Chef only gives him more responsibility and more job to do. He is a cook, like other cookes in the kitchen. So he does the same job as other cooks do, from opening to closing.
He has brought new energy to Amarylis, built the team immediately, so give him a chance, visit Amarylis and try modern, light and original cuisine created by Grzegorz and his team.
