Donald Trump is an American businessman, media personality, and politician. He was born on June 14, 1946, in New York City. His father, Fred Trump, was a real estate developer, and Donald joined the family business in the 1970s. He later renamed it the Trump Organization and became known for building hotels, casinos, golf courses, and skyscrapers, including Trump Tower. In the 1980s and 1990s, Trump became a prominent public figure through various business deals, literary works, and television appearances. Notably, he hosted the TV show The Apprentice, where his phrase “You’re fired” gained widespread recognition. Trump transitioned into politics as a Republican candidate and won the 2016 U.S. presidential election against Hillary Clinton. He served as the 45th president of the United States from 2017 to 2021. His presidency focused on implementing immigration restrictions, tax cuts, trade policies, and an “America First” agenda. Trump was impeached twice by the House of Representatives, though acquitted by the Senate on both occasions. Following his loss to Joe Biden in the 2020 election, Trump maintained significant influence in American politics and subsequently returned to office after winning the 2024 presidential election, becoming both the 45th and 47th president of the United States.
