Today, we pause to honor the memory of all those who lost their lives in the devastating earthquake that struck Azad Jammu and Kashmir on this day in 2005. Thousands of our brothers and sisters were martyred, and countless families were forever changed.

To those who were injured, to the brave souls who lost their loved ones, and to everyone who still bears the scars of that tragic day—our hearts and prayers are with you. Your strength and resilience in the face of unimaginable loss continue to inspire us all.

May the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace, and may we always stand united as a community, supporting one another through every hardship.
