Discussing politics over a cup of freshly brewed coffee or aromatic sweet tea flavoured with spices creates a unique and remarkable experience. Chai, Kaafee aur Siasat is a coffee house with a difference that houses a "writers' niche" for the accomplished and aspiring writer's/poets/journalists of the day to interact and share their wisdom and experience; a "speakers' corner", presenting an opportunity to the guests at the cafe to voice their opinions (substantial and decent) on significant serious and comical contemporary issues; a "launch pad", a platform for launching new and innovative products. Nestled in a corner is the smokers' retreat "The Cigar Lounge" for those who puff in style. For the early birds CKS offers what no other cafe in Lahore does, a combination of desi and western breakfast from 7 am to 11:30 am. A romantic yet intellectually stimulating ambiance in a modern comfortable setting - CKS brings to Lahore a fusion of wit, fun, serious and casual atmosphere for the vivacious youth and the mellowed wise. So stay tuned Lahore to indulge in some domestic, campus, national and global politics with friends and kin early in the day at the breakfast table over Parathas and steaming Doodh Patti, in the afternoon over a platter of delicious savories and cakes and late at night to relax and inspire your wit to brilliance in a quiet corner over a cup of Chai or Kaafee strong and spicy or mild and creamy at CKS where politics is made palatable.
