Gao overcame Zhao at Belfast Snooker Championship;
There was complete dominance of potting skills by both the Chinese quists against each others. Zhao showing his calibre won initial 2 frames without giving any chance to his county man. The 3rd and 4th frames Gao took advantage of some missing by Zhao and managed to equaliser 2-2. In 5th frame, Gao Yang showing his calibre managed the score 2-3 in his favour with century break responding Zhao's earlier one frame century break. And finally won the match 2-4 to proceed in next round
