Meet Saleem Karim: Area Operation Manager, Multi Unit Manager California Pizza, Hospitality and Restaurant Management Specialist
With more than ๐ญ๐ฐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ of experience in the hospitality and restaurant industry, he is a seasoned professional known for his expertise in multi-unit operations, restaurant leadership, and customer service excellence. Based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, he has built a strong record of leading high-performing teams, elevating service standards, and driving sustainable business growth across well-known international food chains.
In his current role as Area Manager at California Pizza โ Four Sons Private Limited, he oversees multiple restaurant locations, ensuring consistent operational excellence, strong customer satisfaction, financial management, team development, and the implementation of brand-focused marketing initiatives. Before this position, he served as Multi-Unit Manager at the same organization, where he strengthened his skills in managing multi-site restaurant operations and guiding teams to deliver high-quality service.
His background includes more than ๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ at Subway Pakistan as Restaurant General Manager and Manager, where he developed deep expertise in food service operations, inventory control, service quality, and people management. His diverse experience also includes earlier roles at Pizza Hut, as well as positions in network administration and student counseling at Aptech Pakistan and Arena Multimedia, adding range to his professional capabilities.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, he manages some of Pakistanโs largest and most active food communities, including Karachi Eats and Treatโs KET, Lahore Eats and Treatโs LET, Karachi Food Posting KFP, and Pakistan Food Posting PFP. These community platforms connect thousands of users across the country and play an important role in promoting food brands, supporting small businesses, and strengthening Pakistanโs vibrant food culture.
He is currently pursuing a degree in Hotel Management and Operation from Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology, complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce from Karachi University, giving him both hands-on experience and academic grounding in hospitality and business administration.
His passion for people, hospitality, and operational excellence, combined with his proven ability to manage multi-site restaurant operations, positions him as a dynamic leader capable of driving impact, building strong teams, and accelerating organizational growth.
