The idea behind Fuòco Lahore was to create a building that felt connected to its surroundings.
The outdoor spaces followed a principle of organic minimalism, keeping the landscape in tune with the region's dry climate rather than competing with it.
Inside, curved edges were intended to soften the space and create a sense of flow. Wood, stone, preserved trees and dried planting were used liberally to evoke a sense of calm and bring elements of the natural world indoors.
These softer forms sit alongside more structured shapes and patterns, balancing the organic with the precise.
In many ways, it reflects our style of cooking: respecting natural ingredients while using technique and structure to give them form.
